I've been listening to "Winter Snow" by Audrey Assad for the last few days.
I've been thinking about singing this song for our Christmas program...

For the last few days, I've been saying to myself that this song sounds Sarah Mclachlan-ish..
Then I said to myself, oh no...I wonder who Audrey Assad's musical influences are...
Just a few minutes ago, I decided to google "Audrey Assad music influences"....and there it was...
Sarah Mclachlan's name followed first after the word "influences" on her music myspace profile.
Of course, we sound like what we like.

And then I pretended to bang my hand against my head...

It's raining!!! Can't believe it =] Well, I do believe it.
It's 10am. I didn't take Shannon to her zero period today...So, I was able to sleep in until 8am =].
I awoke to the household's grand welcoming to Estella Paden.
We love her too much =].

Wednesday:
- Experimental psychology paper due.
- Informal presentation of our research/paper.
- Potluck in that class!!!! I will try to make a vegan asian sesame chicken salad =].
We're all graduating this year. =]

Friday:
- Final for my "Personality" class.
- Final for my "Middle childhood" class.
- Paper due.

Then...I am free.
I will enjoy my month off by hopefully cleaning, ice skating, be more healthy, help mother,
perhaps find a job, apply for programs, read more, spend time with friends&family, and get to know Jesus more...

TWO more weeks of school. Unbelievable.
I have one more week of classes and one week of finals.
What will I do for a month? That should be fun...I can't even feel it coming.

Lately, it seems like I've been repeating my history.
Bad news. Baddddd habit. Bad.
Who am I, right...?

I have two more weeks of school and I really need to push it.
Tomorrow I will try my best to complete graduate school applications online.
Tuesday I will try my best to study my notes.

I need to go on a sugar fast. No processed sugar! Maybe that's one reason why I'm breaking out.

The Lord has been good to me this year. Blogging does help me to remember what went on this year.

Yesterday, I said to myself, "Sarah, today, you get to indulge....!!!!"
So, I bought myself a small box of blueberries for $1.20.
Muahhahahaha..... Hey, who said I can't have some good antioxidants for the day?

- I need to apply for master programs. I need to!
- Last night, I went to an informational meeting for a the Master of Science in Counseling & Guidance program. It is the coolest program EVER. Why? It's a three year program. It's a MS/PPS program (everything I need to become a high school counselor). Their field experience will be here in the local school districts. AHHHHHHH! It is everything want. It is much cheaper than a private university. Classes are at night. It is here in SB...which means I can still live with my parents (a total bonus). BUT, the only downfall........which crushes my heart. They only accept students during the Spring, and I graduate after the Spring quarter. I need a program that will accept me during the Fall quarter.
- I will have to apply to other universities that are further away, which may mean move out...NOOOO! OR I can get volunteer/work experience until Spring 2011. << Uncool because I really wanted to be finished with a MS program by 24 years of age.
- So, I guess the next year is sort of unclear. I don't want to go to a private university. I might just cancel my application processes for LLU. I know I spent $100 already on the applications, but if I further the application process, that means I'll have to take the GRE (which means more money). I don't really like the programs I applied for (I applied before I knew exactly what I wanted to do). I don't like the cost of tuition. After years of going to public schools, I would rather go to a public university because I can make friends with nonadventist people....EGW said it's a mission field! It takes a lot of filtering to go to a public university, but I think it's worth it because I meet new people and perhaps be able to be light in areas that might be needed.
- There is still hope for me, which I am trying to remind myself. I am twenty-one! But I really did want to finish everything up as soon as possible. Hey, who knows, education is also in the work field. I should just go to Korea for a year and make money there! HA.... Okay, enough talking.
- Perhaps I'm just living up to my own expectations. I just want to be done and start doing the things I want to do in life (serve God, serve people, read the things I want to read, study the things I want to study, and have fun). But on the bright side, I'll be getting my BA in June. Which means what in this day and age???? ............. I pray that God will guide me, use me, and put me on the right path. May God's will be done.

Okay, so I had two midterms yesterday. DONE.
Now, I must focus on my introduction & method section for my experiemental psychology research paper.
Must press on...Must do the work...Must fight...Will fight...

All I want to do is have fun, eat, sleep, exercise, talk, spend money, and be outside.

Autumn Fun

Last Wednesday, we decided to randomly go to the pumpkin patch.
My only condition was...everyone has to wear earth-tone or fall colors!
The pictures turned out nice =].

I still haven't had any pumpkin this season! So not cool.
The closest I got to pumpkin was a bag of pumpkin seeds....

I got a 44 score out of 50 on my midterm(now 45 because he gave everyone an extra point).
YES! Thank God... I really thought I got like a 20 or something.
So I missed 7 out of 60 questions. God is gracious. I only pass because of Him!
I have two more midterms on Monday. Got to ACE. Got to ACE.

P.S. I registered for my classes yesterday.
I signed up for ceramics, printmaking, race & racism, and weight training!

I never thought I would ever ride a mechanical bull. O_o'
I mean, that's for wild people! .........JK.
Well, our friend's dad gave us some tickets at the pumpkin patch. How sweet of him!
We had some good, innocent fun. I will have to make a photo blog on the pumpkin patch soon.

Oh, hair...I had enough of you that night, but you are somewhat missed.
